The Thin White Duke didn't remember making Station To Station. It was recorded in a coke-fuelled frenzy. In March 2021, I had a similar experience - minus the blow.

I didn't sleep for 42 hours. Tired but wired (and bored shitless), I ended up fucking about with some royalty-free samples and loops. By the time I crashed, I had 25 instrumentals.

When I woke up the following night, I listened back to them and liked what I heard. And seeing as my usual musical collaborator, Buster Versace, is indefinitely occupied with doing up his ex-wife's garden in some desperate attempt to win her back, I decided to produce and release a series of "readymade" recordings.

Call it Dadaism. Call it Gazzaism. Call it a load of shit.

I don't give a monkey's either way.

I call it Gary N°1 (The Second Gary Paradiso EP) as it's the first in the series, but second in my oeuvre, after Get Thee Behind Me Santa.

It was recorded late at night in my bedroom during lockdown. If you listen closely, you can hear the smoke and psychosis.

It is a collection of 10 tracks about love, sex, God, mental illness, halogen heaters, and more...

This deluxe download includes six bonus tracks: the b-sides from the singles and the one track mix of the EP, cos why the fuck not?
